FEI President Ingmar De Vos elected unanimously as President of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations
The election – which was unanimous – took place at the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) 48th General Assembly at SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit, the world’s most influential sport industry gathering, in Birmingham on 9 April 2024.

Get ready for the FEI World Cup™ Finals 2024, Riyadh (KSA)
The Longines FEI Jumping and the FEI Dressage World CupTM Finals, taking place in Riyadh (KSA) from 16 to 20 April 2024, are just around the corner! This will be the inaugural occasion for the FEI World Cup™ Finals to be held in Asia for Dressage, and the second time for Jumping since the finals held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2006. Additionally, it will mark the premiere of both the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final and the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final in the Middle East region.
The Finals will bring together 51 athletes in the two disciplines: Jumping (34), Dressage (17) in a bid to claim one of the most prestigious trophies in the equestrian world.

FEI Tack App – Last update before Paris 2024
Please be informed that the last update of the FEI Tack, Equipment & Dress Database (FEI Tack App) was released after the Easter holidays, on 8 April 2024.
Further to feedback received from numerous Athletes and Officials, who are seeking clarity regarding the use of tack and equipment during the Olympic & Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, the FEI agreed that this would be the last update of the FEI Tack App prior to the Games. The temporary pause of updates to the FEI Tack App will be applied to all FEI Disciplines, including non-Olympic Disciplines.
Following the conclusion of the Olympic & Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, the updates shall resume on every first Monday of the month, as per the usual process.

Did you know that ponies may be tested during Pony Measuring Sessions?
In order for ponies to be allowed to take part in FEI Pony Competitions they need to be of regulatory height. Height does matter!
All ponies presented at FEI Pony Measuring Sessions may be subject to sampling under the FEI’s Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication Regulations (EADCMRs) from the time of their arrival at the Pony Measuring Station until their departure.
Ponies are considered as being “In-Competition” while at FEI Pony Measuring Sessions and must therefore be free from Prohibited Substances. A positive test may lead to the invalidation of the result of the relevant pony measurement. Testing is in place in order to protect the welfare of the ponies and prevent the use of Prohibited Substances and/or Methods in an attempt to try and affect the measuring result.
